An excellent new addition to Hua Hin. A challenging course with spectacular views and a first rate experience all round.The latest addition to Hua Hin's growing number of quality golf courses, Banyan Golf Club is set in a breathtaking location near the gulf of Thailand, surrounded by mountainous scenery and lush plant life. The views from the back nine are particularly memorable. Six different tee boxes mean everyone can set their own challenge, but the cleverly located water hazards and waste bunkers mean that even from the front tees it is no easy ride. If you can find the fairways you will generally get good lies from which to approach the fast, well manicured greens. The standout hole is probably the 10th, where a dramatic tee shot must carry shrubs and wasteland whilst avoiding woods to the left. If you can avoid the lottery of large rocks on the fairway, a tough second shot plays uphill to an elevated green which falls away awkwardly.
